It's a Forest!
Just a quick update. Planted 2 flowering crabapples (malus Adams & m. Sugar Tyme), a viburnum (Chicago Lustre), a pagoda dogwood, a western hemlock and 3 flowering currants (ribes sanguineum, r. sang. Pokey's Pink and r. sang. Hannaman's White). So the entire north side of the front yard has all of the shrubs and trees it needs now. Oh. Except for the rosebush I haven't ordered yet. Darlow's Enigma probably. Anyway, that was my evening. Tired. Very tired.
Thank you Dave for holding the trees upright so I could scrabble in the mud and also for helping dig some of the holes.
