So this is pretty cool...

I now have a weblog. Huh. I know I'm behind in this whole post your life for the world to see thing; don't fault me. I would like to place the blame squarely where it belongs: on graduate school and my tendency towards ludditism (if that wasn't a word before, it is now).

I figured it was about time. So much has been going on in my life, and I've not kept in touch with anyone (sorry Mom, Dad). So now I can keep you all up to date on my life and the developments around the house without having to type the same thing to 30 different people. Mind you, I'll still be sending individual emails from time to time, this is just for the group updates.

And this entry, it's just an introduction. I'll be posting before and after and "what it looks like now" photos of house and yard in Moscow, since that's what we're up to right now, along with an update on my summer, etc. Can't say how frequently I'll post entries. I've never been much of a diarist...

But all that's for another day. This day has been long and full of busy-ness. We made 3 trips to the dump. Once for sod (the front lawn has about 1/4 less lawn than it did this morning), and twice for loads of carpets, juniper stumps, stupid things that used to cover the basement windows, etc., or as Dave said, "35 years of bad decisions." Then one more trip to the yard debris station (the ugly, encroaching bush from the backyard is no more) and now I'm on a desperate quest for funny, active, useful, contemporary monologues to use in my OSF audition September 9 and also for the UI fall semester production auditions. So. There it is. My life. Guess the days of luxury and laziness are over. At least until Mid-December.
