Ah but you did finish your novel for November! And you made it through your play. And you have been volunteering at a school that is a long drive away. Come this summer when things perhaps calm down you will have to look back at this time and realize that there is some balance somewhere, just not here, right now.

Suffering a bit of Chicago winter, are we, Heather? Here we're at that horrible thaw all day make the roads undrivably icy at night stage. Yay.

Desiree,

I have, unfortunately, had to give up on the volunteering thing for the winter. Too far to drive, too much of the weather stuff, too many other things on my plate. So I can't use that as an excuse for lack of balance. That's just something to feel guilty about for cutting the worthwhile stuff out of my schedule so I can blog. See how the guilt works?
